Can you recommend a tube mill model if I only provide a size range?
A size range is helpful, but we also need the matching wall thickness for each size. Different tube sizes and wall thicknesses may require different machine configurations, roll tooling, and welding power.
Why do you ask for wall thickness for each tube size?
Wall thickness affects machine model selection, forming design, roll tooling, welding power, cutting method, and production stability. Accurate wall thickness information helps us recommend a practical tube mill solution.
Machine Selection
Can one tube mill produce round, square, and rectangular tubes?
Yes, many ERW tube mill lines can produce round pipes and then form square or rectangular tubes through sizing sections and suitable roll tooling. The exact range depends on tube size, wall thickness, and machine design.
Can one machine cover all tube sizes?
Not always. If the size range and wall thickness range are too wide, one machine may not be practical. In some cases, two or more tube mill lines are a better choice for stable production and efficiency.
Do you produce stainless steel TIG or laser tube mills?
Our main products are carbon steel high frequency welded tube mill machines for HR, CR, GI, and related steel strip materials. If your project is stainless steel TIG or laser welding, please confirm with us first.
