Typical Square Tube Production Process
1. Steel Strip Uncoiling
Steel coil is opened and fed into the square tube production line.
2. Strip End Welding
The end of one strip coil is joined to the beginning of the next.
3. Accumulation
An accumulator stores strip to support continuous production.
4. Forming into Round Tube
Roll tooling gradually forms the flat strip into an open round profile.
5. High Frequency Welding
The prepared strip edges are welded into a continuous round tube.
6. Square or Rectangular Sizing
Sizing rolls reshape the welded round tube into the required hollow section.
7. Straightening and Cutting
The finished profile is straightened and cut to the required length.
8. Run-out and Packing
Cut tubes are transferred for collection, handling, and optional packing.
