Why Matching Wall Thickness Matters
The maximum tube diameter alone is not enough to select an ERW tube mill. Wall thickness affects forming load, machine structure, roll design, welding demand, cutting method and practical production stability.
A request such as “20-80 mm tubes, 0.8-3.0 mm wall” does not show whether the 80 mm tube must be produced at 3.0 mm or whether that thickness applies only to a smaller size.
